Migrant Expo & Job Fair 2024

This year's Migrant Expo & Job Fair drew nearly 2,000 migrant professionals eager to connect with hiring organizations, network, and match with local resources. The free annual event took place on April 11, 2024, between 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM, and was our largest and most successful to date. TU Dublin acted as the packed venue, with hundreds of migrant professionals queuing through the University before doors opened.

The event aimed to create a space for job seekers to showcase their skills and experience while allowing hiring companies the opportunity to engage with the migrant community and fill available roles. The room was abuzz as participants shared information and made professional connections, fostering a growing awareness of migrants' professional needs and capabilities and the Irish job market's eagerness to embrace them. Representing diverse sectors, skills, experiences, and backgrounds, aspiring migrants had ample opportunity to connect with hiring managers, recruiters, and relevant organizations in the Irish job market throughout the day.

We took pride in hosting employers from various sectors, including government, corporate bodies, and recruitment agencies. Hiring companies included Veola, Janssen, Enterprise Mobility, and Compass Ireland, among others. In addition to facilitating employment connections, we also linked participants with social services and resources through New Communities Partnership (NCP), the Irish Refugee Council, and more.
