Maria came to live in Ireland in June 2007. A graduate of Political Science from University of West, Timisoara, Romania, Maria is currently studying for a Masters in Sociology (Social Research) at University of Limerick.

Samar Bennis studied tourism; business & English at the Institute of Tourism & University Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah in Fez. Originally from Morocco, she now lives in Ireland with her husband and daughter.

Nasruddin Saljuqi came to Ireland in 2000. From Afghanistan, he founded the Afghan Community of Ireland in 2001 and serves as their Director. His work in Ireland involves promoting Afghan arts and culture through exhibitions, concerts and publishing.
