Developing skills in identifying, analysing and highlighting social policy issues:

  1. How social policies are made in Ireland
  2. How to influence social policy
  3. Key stages in identifying policy issues arising from people's experiences in trying to access services or enforce rights
  4. Ways in which social policy feedback can be developed

The Session will cover four areas:

  1. The Social Policy-Making Process
  2. Understanding Social Policy Work/Feedback
  3. Gathering 'evidence based' policy feedback
  4. Developing Case Evidence
