NCP Gives Stage to African Diaspora in Ireland to Contribute Discussion on Ireland Aid

NCP will give stage to the African diaspora in Ireland to contribute to a discussion on Ireland's aid programme and how it impacts on the development and progress of contemporary Africa.

A public consultation will be held on Thursday April 5 (10.30 am - 2 pm) at the Irish Aid Office, O' Connell St, Dublin 1 to hear the views of Ireland's African community. Key issues for discussion are poverty particularly in Sub Sahara Africa, global financial crisis, rising food and energy process whilst issues of poor governance, insecurity and corruption will also be raised.
