The AMO is produced by the EMN in accordance with Article 2(1)(d) and Article 9(1) of Council Decision 2008/381/EC establishing the European Migration Network. It is separate from the Annual Asylum and Migration Report, to be published by the European Commission under the AMMR (Regulation (EU) 2024/1351) in October 2025.
